About Me
Cynthia Arguelles
Hello, my name is Cynthia Arguelles, I was born in the beautiful City of Puebla, México, famous for the battle of 5 de Mayo, its delicious food, and its beautiful architecture. I moved to Washington State 19 years ago due to my husband’s job.
The last 8 years I have been dedicated to teaching Spanish to children and adults, both in person and online. Working with children is something I really enjoy, sharing my mother tongue and my culture is something I am passionate about, seeing the growth in each of my students fills me with happiness and pride of my heritage. I am convinced that learning more than one language opens many horizons to different cultures and fills us with a lot of opportunities.
In my spare time I really enjoy traveling and getting to know new cultures and trying out different foods. I also love to dance Flamenco and I enjoy playing board games with my family.
I am happily married, and I have three wonderful children who light up my life and have been my main teachers in life.
I am very excited to be able to contribute to this community.
